WiiMart's Anniversary!

...is in like 11 days (March 12, 2026)

Thank you everyone, for making WiiMart last so long we're making it to one full year of public access!
But alas, niche projects like WiiMart are subject to motivation loss, funding issues, community decline, lack of technical knowledge, and other hurdles.

Recently, we've been acknowledging and discussing what the project has been through, if the project can survive due to these issues, and even if staff members are staying.
So on this anniversary, and as a coping last ditch effort, I'm going to gather what the community thinks about the project. Cue the form!

Here it is, this form has questions based on your experience with WiiMart and even if you are willing to help it out.
This wasn't a Q&A due to timezone issues. I will use this form to get issues answered by those who can handle it.

I get back to you on March 12 with the actions that staff may take, so it can be on the anniversary.

Shop Developers

Ocarina is the creator of WiiMart! He began working on it after the unsuccess of Rii Shop. As the owner, he maintains the shop entirely.

Selim is a Discord administrator and server hoster for WiiMart. They manage various services for WiiMart.

Thom is a Discord administrator and is the developer of the WiiMarty bot and the WiiMart Installer.

idkwhereisthisname is a Discord administrator, they work on pages in the shop

Wabagg123 is one of the developers for WiiMart that contributes to the WiiConnect24 and Wii SOAP part of the shop.

Website Developer

Gemdation is the main website coder and designer of the WiiMart branding.

Discord Staff

YourTooSlow is a Discord administrator, he is learning HTML and JavaScript.

RM05 is a Discord moderator and WiiMart translation contributor.

Subnetic is a Discord administrator, they typically manage the WiiWare and Virtual Console injects that are added.

ThatOneYoshi is one of the Discord administrators, they have contributed with some Virtual Console injects.

cosmobona56 is one of the Discord administrators.

A for Animation is one of the Discord moderators, they have contributed with some Virtual Console injects.

ForgottenArchive is one of the Discord moderators, they have contributed with some Virtual Console injects.

DefeatOf13 created the mascot Miis for WiiMart and the upcoming DSiMart.

Roulettz created the first 2006 banner WiiMart WAD.
Nathan Boehm's project, WiiShopChannel.net, often helped out WiiMart for reference purposes.
